WIMIN Award Webinar

Maryam discusses her academic journey, including her PhD research on synthesizing nanoparticles for sensing and photocatalytic applications, and her postdoctoral work at UPenn and Stanford on developing contrast agents for various imaging modalities. She highlights her recent research on engineering antibacterial, non-toxic nanoparticles for imaging and treating infections, as well as her work on bacteriophages for phage therapy. Maryam also describes her current projects, including synthesizing gold and platinum nanoparticles for antibacterial properties, and conjugating nanoparticles with bacteriophages for improved tracing and imaging capabilities.
